The main events and performances taking place in Ardea and Tor San Lorenzo all over the year are as follows:

ARDEATINO CARNIVAL
 | Traditional event re-discovered by Ardea and Tor San Lorenzo Pro-Loco, after an interruption lasted 11 years. In this event, which takes place in the various areas of the Ardea territory, participate the local communities such as Committees, Schools, Associations etc. with floats, maskers, music, dances and a lot of gaiety. |

WOMEN FEAST
 | A day devoted to women with the purpose of starting a self-consciousness route of the feminine potentialities, involving women in the search and creation of solutions to re-evaluate the territorial resources, making women of all communities protagonist of a territorial, effective and long-lasting development planning. |

SPRING AT LANDRIANA
 | Renowned annual appointment at the Landriana Gardens with a market-show on gardening, botany, garden furniture, biological food and much more… |

OPEN CELLARS AT THE DONNARDEA VINEYARDS
| The yearly appointment involving vine and wine firms of all Italy arrives to the Ardea countryside at the agricultural farm Donnardea belonging to Antonio and Adriana Trasmondi. It is an opportunity to know, among folk dances, small markets and tasting, the cellars and vineyards of a family - conducted firm. How to arrive:From the Ring Road get out at Laurentina Road, direction Ardea. Run Laurentina Road up to about Km 27, pass through Santa Procula place then turn left towards Albano. After about 4 Km. turn right , take the private street Via Fossi di Valle Caia and follow the signs to Donnardea. |

GREEN LIFE AT LANDRIANA
 | Market-show regarding life in the open air and in the garden. Stands of garden furniture, terraces, balconies, lighting, curtains, furniture accessories and much more are present together with stands relative to sport activities, journeys, and free time. Guided visits to the gardens are available too. The Landriana facilities put at the visitors’ disposal a large parking area, a restaurant with barbecue and a Bar, in order to spend an entire day quietly and pleasantly. |

PALIO AND MAY FEAST
 Traditional feast which takes place in the ancient Rocca di Ardea with gastronomic stands, concerts, dances. The feast, of peasant origin, announces the end of the winter season and the beginning of the gathering season. It is possible, during the event, to taste the typical Ardea food: boccacce, crescioni soup, fregnacce and much more. Clou of the feast is the Palio of Ardea, which takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 of May, every year, in the main square of the town. This is a donkey race with three turns around the square and to which participate donkeys and jockeys representing the principal districts (contrade) of the town. Prior to the race, a parade with medieval show, music, games is provided followed by the propitiatory blaze of the Pantasima, a big puppet in feminine forms. |

 | Summer event organized by Comune di Ardea with music, shows, cinema and much more! . |

SAN LORENZO FEAST
 | Folk feast in honour of the patron-saint Lorenzo. Processions to the sea and throughout the town streets are provided together with exposure and sale of various articles, music and dances in the main square, illumination, fireworks. |
AUGUST AT LANDRIANA
The Landriana Gardens will be closed to the public during the entire month of August but group visits can be booked and arranged.

AUTUMN AT LANDRIANA
 | Second annual scheduled meeting at the Landriana Gardens with visits to the gardens and to the large exhibition of plants, flowers, garden furniture, gastronomic stands. |

THE NATIVITY IN THE TRADITION
 | “The Cribs of the folk tradition in the South Coast of Rome" is a contest organized annually by Pro Loco Tor San Lorenzo involving Parishes, Institutions and Associations belonging to Ardea and neighbouring Municipalities. Aim of this initiative is to enhance artistic activities and traditions of the territory. The event is scheduled for December of every year during the Christmas period. In the Epiphany-day the cribs are exposed and all of them pictured in a DVD. An award ceremony is planned to follow. . |

CHRISTMAS CONCERTS
 | It is tradition for the Pro Loco Tor San Lorenzo to organize, with the support of Comune di Ardea and/or other territorial entities, one or more events to celebrate the important festivity of Christmas. . |
